Young learners deserve every chance to excel. For ten years, Fox 8 Cleveland’s Stuff the Bus campaign has helped teachers provide supplies to Ohio students who need them most — and this year, Pull-A-Part was proud to pitch in.
“Our employees were excited to experience something this big,” said Pull-A-Part Cleveland manager Ted Bogiantzis. “It made them feel good that they were doing something for the kids in the community.”
Pull-A-Part contributed a truckload of school supplies, including 2000 special-edition Pull-A-Part pencils, 100 packs of 24-count crayons, 26 composition books, three full cases of tissues — and even some laptop cases.
“The supplies are taken to a warehouse, and teachers go in and get the supplies for free to provide to kids who need them,” Bogiantzis said. “Everyone had a great time at Stuff the Bus. There was even a petting zoo — for the kids.”
Several Cleveland-area businesses joined forces with local first responders and private citizens for the day-long school supplies drive at Fox 8 studios. In the end, 12 buses were stuffed with school supplies to be distributed to kids across the greater Cleveland area. Schools from Parma to Lakewood will benefit from the Stuff the Bus campaign, which means over 150,000 kids will receive the tools they need to succeed.
